The STREAM Club provides students with opportunities to explore Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through engaging, hands-on learning experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. Students will develop leadership skills by working together on projects, exploring real-world challenges, and sharing their learning with others. As part of the club, members will also help plan and facilitate our annual STREAM Night, creating interactive activities that engage and inspire Prairie View families while showcasing the importance of STREAM education.

Mindfulness Club provides students with opportunities to build healthy habits through friendship, kindness, crafts, and mindfulness activities. Students learn strategies to care for their minds and bodies, strengthen positive relationships, and develop skills that support their overall well-being.

Hawk Harmonizers provides students with opportunities to develop their musical talents while building confidence, teamwork, and school pride. Through singing and performing at school assemblies and community events, students form lasting friendships, strengthen their performance skills, and positively represent Prairie View while sharing the joy of music with others.

Yearbook Club gives students the opportunity to document and celebrate the school year by photographing special events, classroom learning, and memorable moments. Students develop skills in photography, collaboration, organization, and design while working together to create a lasting keepsake that captures the spirit and achievements of the Prairie View community.

Sports Club gives elementary students opportunities to be active, have fun, and develop fundamental movement and teamwork skills. Through age-appropriate games and activities, students build confidence, practice good sportsmanship, strengthen friendships, and learn the value of cooperation, perseverance, and healthy lifestyles.

Cheer Club gives students the opportunity to build school spirit while developing confidence, teamwork, and leadership. Students cheer at school events, Hawk Walks, and other school activities to promote Hawk Pride throughout our community. Through age-appropriate instruction, students learn cheer fundamentals, including basic cheers, motions, and pom routines, while older students have opportunities to develop beginning tumbling and more advanced cheer skills. Separate K–2 and 3–5 groups ensure instruction is developmentally appropriate for all participants.

Chess Club provides students with opportunities to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills in a fun and engaging environment. Students build patience, concentration, sportsmanship, and friendships while learning and practicing the game of chess.

Stack Pack Club provides students with a fun and engaging opportunity to develop coordination, focus, speed, and teamwork through cup stacking activities. Students build confidence, perseverance, and sportsmanship while challenging themselves and encouraging others.

The Student Lighthouse Team develops student leaders who help make Prairie View a positive and welcoming school community. These students lead and support important school initiatives, including running the Hawk Store, leading Hawk Walk assemblies, and serving as role models for their peers. Lighthouse Team members also teach classrooms about the 7 Habits within the Leader in Me program, helping students build leadership skills, responsibility, and a growth mindset. These students are the leaders of Prairie View and help inspire others to be leaders as well.
